Re:@ Gustavo
make sure you dont use any obvious fake tools or do non-obvious \"faking\" . faking without knowing could be that you play the game using some emulator - vmware, wine, virtualbox or such. those virtual machine tools may screw with the computer clock what results in slight timing difference...

Re:@ Julian
@Julián: where did you download Blockout II ? if it came with some pre-installed ubunto package, chances are that you cannot upload highscores. thats because packages made by other people than jean luc do not have the highscore upload module (for security reasons). only the linux version downloadabl...

take blockout to the next level (user interaction)

would you like to do that? if not, i could do it, too.

afaik BLOCK means the score that you get if you instantly drop a block. the earlier you drop a block , the higher your score that is.

Re:BlockOut II ported to Amiga
Great Work ! this is fantastic news. thanks for porting, hopefully this will increase the number of players.
if you contact jean luc pons, there might also be a chance to get the code part for highscore uploading, so that amiga users can also participate in the online highscore lists.

Re:A way to define arbitrary block-sets
this is a good idea, and can of course be implemented. maybe if there will be a new release, JeanLucPons might also add your suggestions. for 2d tetris , you might just for fun check out http://www.gravytris.de - there is a game that has a mode called \"GrowTris\", where the number of bloc...

Re:Blockout II v.2.4 for x86_64 Linux
this is currently not possible. the reason is a security measure - it is not possible to guarantee unique scores with open source. though blockoutII is opensource, the code part responsible for highscore uploads and replay stuff is secret / non-public. so, unless the original author jean-luc supplie...

Re:bug
i have a suggestion: please try the SDL version of blockout II. it is in some other thread here. the sdl version uses openGL, and it might be that your problem is directx related. so if you use SDL and openGL, it might well be, that your problem will be gone. also, there is a vista-patch vor blockou...
